ST-Xpress Product Programmer

ST-Xpress Product Programmer, when required, is included with the product manual or may be downloaded free of charge from our website below. Since, SmarTrunk II products were discontinued, ST-853 programming software and firmware, and ST-865/866 logic boards' programming software are not available for direct downloads.

The complete operating manuals for the controllers and logic boards may also be downloaded from the Manuals section.

This downloadable software consists on one ZIP file ST-858_Programmer_Software_v0.2e_and_Firmware_v0.14.zip containing the following files:

ST-858 Programming Software version v0.2e, which consists on a Windows XP SP3 based PC program. To install the software run the ST858_Programmer_Software_v02e.exe file, and follow the installer instructions. To learn more, please download the ST-858 User's Guide from our Manuals section
ST-858 Operating Firmware version v0.14, which consists on the latest firmware file called "ST858_OCT_20_v014.STF". To program the ST-858 Controllers with this firmware, please read carefully the ST-858 User's Guide.

ST-965 Logic Board Programmer v2.9.2g & v2.9.3d

These software releases are used to program logic boards for trunking operation only. If you wish to use the logic boards for AVL/GPS, please contact us.

The ST-965IC/ICD (Icom UT-117 replace), ST-965VX/VXD, ST-965M5/M5D, ST-965M7/M8 logic boards are programmed from an IBM PC or PC Compatible computer under Microsoft Windows XP SP3 or newer Operating System, using the correct Programming Software listed above accordingly to each logic board model. After downloading the file, run the ST-965_Logic_Board_Programmer_v2.9.xx_Intaller.exe file to install the software.
