introduces the new lower-cost ST-310 firmware-based multisite
The ST-310 is a computer independent roaming switch which simplifies and economizes the creation of a multi-site roaming system. The
ST-310 can support up to 1000 users sharing 64 local and remote
channels at The ST-310 has a conventional line termination for an analog TELCO line (2 wire, loop start) for PSTN or PBX interconnection. The ST-310 adds valuable features to the basic SmarTrunk II protocol:
The ST-310 supports all of our 3G features including Automatic Site Registration of users, Late-to-Join or Lost Radio Rejoin, radio caller ID w/dial back, secure speech, alpha numeric group "tag" display and conventional channel scan (for talk around). If you want to know more about the 3G features, click here. With just one ST-310 and associated links, ST-100 multiplexers, controllers and RF infrastructure for each channel you can set up a complete multi-site roaming system at a very low-price initial investment.
Like other SmarTrunk products, the ST-310 can expand as your needs grow into the ST-510 LT giving you a dispatch console, remote site telemetry and interoperability solutions, and you can even grow into a full ST-510 system to get Voice Services ! Operators considering a ST-310 Firmware-based Multisite Switch should first be thoroughly familiar with the SmarTrunk II/SmarTrunk Xpress signaling protocols and basic operation, as described in the SmarTrunk II System Overview and the operating manual for the ST-853 Digital Trunking Controller. |
